Back on the Severn Way trail

Hi everyone,

Very soon Pam and I will be back on the trail of The Severn Way so if you'd like to join us watch out for the email alert in the next few days. And when I say 'join us' that either means Follow My Walks in the time-honoured way by simply following this blog OR, in fact, if you can get to the area, drop me an email and I'll send you the full itinerary including dates and each stage.

We'll be camping at the side of the river near Slimbridge and using it as a base, continuing from where we finished last October (Elmore) and walking the remaining 48 miles of this fabulous walk alongside the River Severn, completing the whole 210 miles of The Severn Way - just over 2 years since we started. You'll know by now that we're not the quickest of walkers, preferring to just amble and take in the sights and sounds, and when you take your time there really is so much to see and hear isn't there?

So at a fairly slow pace, we'll be crossing the finishing line near Bristol pretty soon!
